These are the first in a series of sessions that will offer you different lenses through which to understand your Executive Team. They all work as standalone sessions; you don’t need to have done session 1 before you do session 2. They all work as standalone sessions and you do not need to have attended session 1 before you attend session 2.
Developing your Executive Team 1 – 15th December 9am – 12
This is a repeat of a session that ran last year. The purposes of the session are:
- Apply a model of team effectiveness to your own Executive Team
- Deepen your thinking and gain insight about your own Executive Team
- Give you some things to do or experiment with afterwards
- Share experiences with colleagues
We will introduce you to Lencioni’s 5 Dysfunctions of a team and give you the opportunity to share thinking with others and to deepen your thinking about your own Executive Team
Developing your Executive Team 2 – 15th December 1pm – 4pm
This session offers you a more psychologically based lens through which to understand your Executive Team; Jack Gibb’s theory of group development. Gibb offers insights into fundamental human reactions and processes that go on when we are in groups and we will use that to help you gain insight into your own Executive Team and develop you approach.
The session will be highly participative and will give you an opportunity to share experience with others.

Audience: This session will be open to all CEO/Accountable Officers, Chairs and Non-Executive Directors across healthcare organisations.
