This ABC guide is a simple set of ideas for maintaining and enhancing your personal resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. It contains practical ideas that you can use as well as questions to ask yourself to help you become more resilient and cope better with stress. It is helpful for all healthcare staff; those on the front-line working directly with patients, those working in incident centres, and those providing support from their homes. Your resilience may change over time, so we recommend dipping in and out of this guide, using the parts that are most helpful to you. The ABC model stands for:
