Have you ever been unclear on the intent of a briefing? What is the impact of being unclear with the intent? How can we make our intent clear to the reader?

For one to be clear in their presentation or report they need to state right from the onset why they have made the report/ presentation. and then set out the objectives of the report i.e. what they want to achieve.
Yes. I have wondered what a briefing was about many times. A good way to avoid this would be to make it clear who it’s for, what it’s objective is, when it needs to be done within the first sentence.
Be organise of what to write. Concise/clear of the the message being conveyed.
It is useful to have an idea of what the brief will be discussing. By including clues or areas relevant to the brief
knowing the direction of the brief can keep it on track and prevent digression
It is really helpful if you know this ahead of writing the brief
