Team routines

Rhythm in the way a team operates can have multiple benefits, particularly in pressurised contexts.  Regular patterns in meetings, reporting cycles and key operational procedures are linked to high rates of trust and accuracy, promoting a sense of safety.   Strong routines are particularly valuable at transition points (such as the start and end of shifts, and welcoming new people to the team).
