Patricia has worked for the NHS for 30 years and joined Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as Director of Operations in 2011. She was appointed as Chief Executive in September 2014 and the Trust is currently a key partner in the Our Dorset system, a wave one Integrated Care System (ICS). Whilst working in the NHS Patricia has remained passionate about improving the lives of patients and staff in ways that matter to them and was named as one of the top 50 CEOs in 2019. Patricia is also one of only a handful of BAME CEOs in the NHS provider sector and is passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion. In this clip she shares her thoughts on her own personal health and well-being and the importance of role modelling to others. 

Richard was appointed as Chief Executive of Sherwood Forest Hospitals  NHS Foundation Trust in June 2017. He joined from University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust where he worked as Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer for four years. He is also the Executive  Lead for the Mid Notts Integrated Care Partnership and Chair of the East Midlands Cancer Alliance. Richard believes all patients should receive the level of care we would want our friends and families to receive. He views teamwork, lots of encouragement, support and kindness as essential to the delivery of high quality, safe patient care. In this short video Richard reflects on his  own personal health and well-being in these difficult times and what as senior leaders we can do to help look after ourselves and others.
