The Clark Doll test

The Clark Doll Test was a psychological experiment that began in the US in the 1940s and has since been repeated many times. It was devised by Kenneth and Mamie Clark to study children’s attitudes toward race and their self-image.

The video below is not intended to scientifically relay the results of the study. The video shows parts of interviews, pieced together to enable you to consider your own reactions, attitudes, and stereotypes about race.
